Time and Energy

Writing takes time and energy. Sometimes you don't know what to write. Other times you have a lot to say. Then we edit ourselves too much. Somebody famous once said you need to vomit on the page and then sort it out. I've got to look up who said that. BRB. Katherine Parkinson. She said it. ALso another famous writer, who actually spent some time here in Northern Italy has this to say. Hemmingway “Writing is something that you can never do as well as it can be done,” he said in an August 1935 letter. So yea, stop beating yourself up about your writing and write more.

EXCITING NEW BLOG POSTS FROM THE ITALIAN DESK There's nothing really to be too excited about. I have a 4 year gap in my resume plus throw in the Covid shutdown and that's five years. Should I make the word "five" in a numerical way just to stay consistant? Oh, it's too late and I'm further down the paragraph. We'll just have to stick with it. Where are all my homies that started blogs 15 years ago and haven't updated. Did you forget? Did we all forget that writing was so important. So lethargic, that's not the word, the word I'm looking for eludes me because I stuck too much pot in my head all those years, long long ago. In a galaxy not too far away, but let's face it, it's pretty far and the way they're moving we'll never get there. Elon Musk needs to build better rockets that stop exploding, and put an end to his political ambitions if we're to catch this galaxy. So yea, In a galaxy not too far away and around the same time as it is now in our galaxy; there was a group of humanoids fairly similar to us, but they've been around much much longer and have evolved to a peaceful society and in peace and harmony with the planet they live on. They're rad. Let's face it. They've gone threw all the dumb mistakes that we've made here on our planet and they're still moving and grooving and cutting and slicing and they've got it together. They farm the land and eat and drink yummy drinks. Yummy. I'm unhappy with that word choice. Why can't I make better word choices? Their drinks are divine? Did god make them or something? No. They had to pick the fruit and juice it themselves, so divine is a little far reaching. The drinks are cool and refreshing. There. That makes for some good word choices. SO... They're drinking and eating and mingling and taking care of business. But what kind of business? It's Business chat. They've got meetings about all sorts of things. Marketing. Costs. Sales. They've got to fire that wanker Phil for one thing. He says he's busy all the time but all he does is talk, talk. Talk, talk, talk, talk, all you do to me is talk talk.

There. So they've fired Phil and now can get on with the next important thing to do and that's to buy a 3D printer and start printing fake fruit to put in their beautiful hand weaved baskets. They've got a contract with ZANNY PANNY to sell as many baskets as they can make. And everyone knows that ZANNY PANNY is the place to shop for baskets.
