Wowzers. The new year has started off in a great way! We've sold more titles here at The Trashy Novel Corp than we thought we would. Sales are up and it has contributed a little bit to our advertising budget so you might be seeing some ads on Facebook, just to get the Brand Identity out there. You can click all you want. We are paying for impressions. What else is going on?

I just realized that Amanda has maybe been working at a Youth Hostel in Berlin for over a year. We would love to get the rights to that story.

Also we have started a contest. It's a race to get to a Million Followers on Twitter. You can subscribe to our Twitter feed on the blog here. It's up there with the poll. Missouri or New Mexico?

Hello Eager Readers.

I've tried unsuccessfully to buy 2 motels. One was in Missouri. A 10 room property in the ozarks that pulls in 100K a year. Needed 50K to kickstart that one. Nobody has it.

Then there is the place in Aztec, New Mexico and the owner says he might go down to the bank with me and sign a note on it for a down payment for the property and that's just what I might do. I don't have any money to put anything down, so I gotta go with the flow.

I'm reading this book on how to make some dough, and they talk about opening a hotel.

Can't wait to get this one started. I've got my fearless friends to thank also. Happy Holidays everyone and also don't forget that it's Festivus. That strange holiday where all you need to do is set up a metal pole, air your grievences and show a feat of strength. That's a fun Holiday. Festivus is always on the 23rd of December. Some might even call it the 10th day of Christmas.
